Tuesday’s Kona Sportfishing Charter
Kona fishing in early April has not disappointed. We had a great week of fishing, even though we were out for only three days of charters. Tuesday started with a bang. We released six blue marlin, one shortbill spearfish, and one striped marlin. The action started in the morning and was steady all day. Unfortunately, we lost our best fish of the day, which would have been our seventh blue marlin, but that’s why they call it fishing.
Wednesday – Fishing in Kona, Hawaii
Our primary tournament fisherman, Jeff Stafford from Las Vegas, was in town and booked two days to keep his skills sharp. Both days were great; his first day out was a mirror image of Tuesday’s results: six blue marlin, one spearfish, and one striped marlin.

Thursday – Kona Marlin Fishing
On Thursday, Jeff had another strong day. He tagged five blue marlin and one spearfish.

Overall Results for the Week
